Center Parcs Longford Forest continues to report strong performance, with new financial records highlighting the holiday park’s growing popularity among visitors and its ongoing investment in expansion.
Newly filed accounts from Center Parcs Ireland Ltd reveal that revenues for the 12 months ending April 24, 2025, rose 4 percent to €101 million, up from €96.7 million the previous year.
The resort recorded average weekly revenues of €1.94 million, with operating profits increasing by 13 percent to €33.3 million. Pre-tax profits also climbed by 14 percent to €11.1 million after accounting for €21.9 million in net finance expenses.
Occupancy levels remained robust at 97.6 percent, a slight dip from 98.7 percent the previous year. Despite this minor decrease, the park maintained near-full capacity throughout the period. No dividends were paid in fiscal 2025, following a €152.7 million payout in 2024.
Located in Co. Longford, the resort has now marked six years in operation since opening in July 2019.
It has since established itself as a major player in Ireland’s domestic tourism and short-break market, appealing to families and leisure travelers seeking nature-based getaways with modern amenities.
Center Parcs began a €100 million expansion project in September 2024, signaling confidence in continued demand. According to a report by Evoke, the development will add 198 new lodges and enhancements to existing facilities, including the Subtropical Swimming Paradise and the Aqua Sana Spa.
The spa, which currently features 21 multi-sensory experiences, is set to include a new Treetop Sauna. Additional plans involve the introduction of a new restaurant, The Coffee House.
For operators and business owners in the outdoor hospitality sector, Center Parcs’ performance highlights several industry trends: sustained demand for premium family accommodations, strong year-round occupancy supported by experience-driven amenities, and the importance of reinvestment to maintain guest appeal.
The resort’s expansion also signals optimism in Ireland’s tourism market and continued opportunities for growth in high-quality domestic leisure destinations.
