Innovative Caravans Set to Steal the Spotlight at Caravan Salon 2023

The Caravan Salon 2023 in Düsseldorf is gearing up to be a grand spectacle, with over 700 exhibitors spread across 16 halls and 250,000 square meters. Celebrating its 62nd year, this event, known as the world’s largest trade fair for motorhomes and caravans, promises to unveil the latest innovations in the caravanning and RV world.

This year, the event will feature a wide range of exhibitors from across the globe.

In the caravan exhibitors section, several innovative companies will be showcasing their products. Among them, several caravan brands are poised to make a significant impact with their innovative designs.

Sustainable and durable with a lot of heart and soul made in Germany, Tann Häuschen’s wood-constructed caravans and trailers are not to be missed. Their designs, which will be on display in Hall 11 Stand B72, promise to be a visual treat for attendees.

The idea to build a mobile hunting lodge came to fruition 12 years ago and the caravan’s shape has not changed to this day.

Over the years, materials have been optimized and replaced with lighter alternatives and the weight of each caravan has been reduced to half. The initial problem was that the first lodges weighed almost 5 tons and were therefore unsuitable for road traffic. Today, the caravans are for the road and are available in four sizes.

From Turkey, Saly Caravan is set to introduce its Off Road Caradrop, a compact trailer designed for the adventurous at heart. Its robust design is meant to withstand challenging terrains, ensuring that adventurers can go off-grid for longer periods.

An off-road caravan for all seasons, Saly Caravan’s Off Road Caradrop features an insulated wall, floor, and roof. It is also one piece from front to back and weighs up to 520 kilograms with its standard equipment, 50-centimeter-high cabin, customizable options, and equipment.

German brand CRAWLER is another exhibitor to watch out for. Their TRC 458, an off-road caravan, boasts a lightweight aluminum body designed for diverse terrains. Its independent suspension system and high approach/departure angle make it a standout in the off-road caravan segment.

Another company is Swedish manufacturer, Polar, renowned for its all-year-round caravans, specially designed for the cold Swedish winters. Polar will be exhibiting in Hall 11 Stand A03-02. Their commitment to quality and durability has made them a household name in Scandinavia.

According to the company’s website, the basic equipment in a Polar caravan is at a level that is otherwise often optional with other manufacturers. This is so that Polar’s caravans can be used all year round in the Nordic climate.

Xcabin from Japan brings a touch of elegance with its smart trailer RV van. These trailers, which will be showcased in Hall 11 Stand C12, combine compactness with intelligent designs, offering a modern twist to caravaning.

From caravan manufacturers to accessories companies, all will showcase their latest products and innovations. Among the other exhibitors are companies like Peggy Peg, known for its screw pegs, and SEEKR by Caframo, which offers high-quality products engineered for open-sea navigation and motorhome exploration.

In a statement, Caravan Salon Director Stefan Koschke expressed satisfaction with the registrations received so far and highlighted the event’s role as the industry’s primary showcase for innovations and trends.

“Requests from national and international exhibitors have increased again against the previous year and we have already had to set up waiting lists in many segments,” Koschke said.

“Caravan Salon is the highlight of the year for visitors and exhibitors and undisputedly THE meeting point for the entire industry with guests from all continents. It is and will be the showcase for innovations because in Düsseldorf the trends and innovations of the coming season and beyond are presented,” the director added.

The Caravan Salon 2023 promises to be an event filled with innovative products and exciting exhibitors. From high-quality caravans to smart technology solutions, the event offers something for every camper. Whether you’re a seasoned caravanning enthusiast or a newcomer to the scene, the Caravan Salon 2023 is an event not to be missed.
