The CARAVAN SALON Düsseldorf 2025 is set to take place from August 29 to September 7, with a Preview Day on August 29 offering early access to new models and innovations for trade visitors, media, and industry professionals.
Recognized as one of the largest trade fairs for mobile leisure globally, the event will host over 700 exhibitors showcasing a broad spectrum of caravans, motorhomes, campervans, technical equipment, and camping accessories.
The show will also feature roof tents, mobile homes, and presentations on travel destinations, campsites, and motorhome pitches.
According to Stefan Koschke, director of CARAVAN SALON, the event continues to serve as a vital hub for product discovery and decision-making.
“Potential customers want to experience the vehicle live – see, touch, and compare – before making a purchase decision. They want to directly compare different products and brands and scrutinize them down to the last detail. This variety, depth, and density of experience can only be found in this form at CARAVAN SALON,” he said.
This year’s event introduces a revised hall layout in response to the upcoming modernization of Hall 9, aiming to improve long-term visitor navigation.
The fair will also highlight premieres for the upcoming season, including innovations and world firsts in the mobile travel sector. New exhibitors are expected to contribute to the diversity and expansion of offerings.
A significant portion of CARAVAN SALON 2025 is dedicated to business-to-business engagement and industry development through its ‘Destination Future’ conference programme.
Scheduled B2B events include the 5th German Pitch Day by CIVD on September 1, the 2nd CARAVAN SALON InnovationStage on the same day, and the 4th ‘Nature.Tourism.Future’ symposium on September 2.
On September 3, the 2nd Camping Destination Day will explore success factors for tourism regions, followed by awards from the German Hiking Association and a panel on AI-supported hiking tools.
The Future Day for Active Tourism on September 4 will address host quality standards and climate adaptation strategies in tourism.
The fair also maintains a strong consumer-facing presence. The StarterWelt exhibit, located between Halls 5 and 9, is designed to help newcomers understand different types of recreational vehicles with hands-on guidance from independent advisors.
Visitors can also attend short presentations covering key topics such as vehicle selection and hire options.
In partnership with explorer and VANderlust magazines, the Self-conversion Adventure exhibition will cater to the DIY community with expert-led presentations and displays of custom-built leisure vehicles.
Product suppliers and advisors will be available in Halls 3, 13, and 14 for those looking to begin or enhance self-build projects.
Entertainment options at the event include the Traumtouren cinema and the European Outdoor Film Tour, as well as an e-bike testing course and children’s activities.
For those arriving in motorhomes, the Caravan Centre on car park P1 will offer approximately 3,500 serviced and unserviced pitches, making it the largest car park in Europe during the show.
Admission pricing varies depending on the day of visit. Standard adult tickets cost €20 on weekends and €18 on weekdays. Discounted rates are available for students, ADAC members, and Club CARAVAN SALON members.
Children’s tickets are priced at €6, and afternoon tickets from Monday to Friday are available for €10. Preview Day tickets are priced at €39 for adults, with reduced pricing for children and eligible groups.
Hotel booking services are also available through a dedicated platform operated by Messe Düsseldorf in collaboration with KUONI Tumlare, offering a selection of accommodations tailored to the needs of trade fair attendees.
