Hexagone Sport Robotics is promoting a suite of robotic solutions designed to automate high-frequency campground maintenance tasks—including indoor floor cleaning, lawn mowing, and pool cleaning—as operators continue to face rising labor costs and staffing constraints.
The company highlighted its robotic cleaning and maintenance solutions during the 46th European Trade Fair of Tourism Trends (SETT), held November 4-6 at the Montpellier Exhibition Centre.
In an exclusive interview with Modern Campground, Jeremy Wiltshire, the company’s representative, described the company’s core product lines.
“We manufacture robotics for cleaning floors in gymnasiums. With the Jimmy Fit, we also have the Moxy Max, an automatic lawn mower, and the Vista Mini, which is a line-drawing machine for the pitches,” he told Modern Campground.
For campground operators, these machines can support daily maintenance and hospitality services. “You could use the Jimmy Fit to clean restaurant rooms and large reception areas,” Wiltshire said. “You can also use the Moxy Max to maintain all the land across the camping site.”
Robotic pool cleaners are also part of the company’s portfolio.
He said the main barrier to adoption among campground operators remains cost. “Today it’s the price,” he said. “And this is mainly the reason today. The price is what limits adoption,” Wiltshire said.
Wiltshire emphasized that robotics is intended to support staff rather than replace them. “Not really, because they understand that we are not reducing staff, but helping people with machines,” Wiltshire said.
Looking ahead, the company is exploring smaller and more affordable versions of its existing machines.
The company’s approach reflects a broader trend in the outdoor hospitality sector toward operational efficiency, automation, and reducing labor-intensive maintenance tasks.
By combining floor cleaning, lawn mowing, and pool maintenance, Hexagone Sport Robotics provides operators with a multi-faceted solution to manage both public and private spaces efficiently.
As campground operators explore technology to streamline operations, Hexagone Sport Robotics positions itself as a key partner in integrating robotics without reducing staff or compromising service standards.
