The Aminess Atea Resort, located in the fishing village of Njivice on Krk Island in Croatia, is preparing to reopen after a €26 million ($28 million) renovation. Scheduled to be ready by the 2024 summer season, the revamped resort aims to provide upgraded amenities and a five-star camping experience.
Key improvements include the introduction of caravan pitches equipped with private swimming pools and sea views.
The resort’s overall capacity is being reduced to create additional green spaces and communal areas, enhancing its natural appeal. A new pool complex with sun loungers and umbrellas will also be available.
According to a report by The Sun UK, the resort boasts a variety of recreational facilities, including new sports grounds, tennis courts, and easy access to the island’s renowned cycling and hiking trails.
For younger visitors, an entertainment center featuring the Mirami mini-club will host activities such as discos, bubble parties, and cinema screenings. Family-friendly amenities will also include a kids’ pool with slides and an inflatable water park.
Adult guests can unwind at the wellness center, which features a bio sauna, Finnish sauna, and hydromassage pool. Spa services, including massages and beauty treatments, will complement the relaxation offerings.
Dining options will include several restaurants, bars, a bakery, a market, and a lounge bar with sea views. Guests will also have direct access to a nearby pebble beach.
Promotional discounts of 10-15% are available for early bookings for summer 2025 stays. Prices will start at €45 ($48) per night, and the resort will operate from March to November, providing an extended season for visitors.
Krk Island is celebrated for its outdoor activities, with over 300 kilometers of cycling and walking trails, scenic beaches, and rich cultural attractions. Visitors typically access the island via Rijeka Airport, located just a short drive from the resort, or by car through a bridge connecting the island to the mainland.
This renovation follows a €55 million ($60 million) upgrade of the Aminess Avalona Camping Resort on Pag Island earlier this year, as Croatia continues to position itself as a destination for upscale camping and outdoor hospitality experiences.
