Discovery’s “RV There Yet?” to Spotlight Myrtle Beach Campgrounds in May, June

The Discovery Channel’s travel adventure series “RV There Yet?” will feature several Myrtle Beach-area campgrounds in its upcoming May and June episodes, offering national viewers a close look at the region’s diverse camping options.

The show, hosted by Kevin and Patrice McCabe, will air on May 17 and June 7 at 8:30 a.m. ET, with each episode also released the following day on the show’s YouTube channel.

Produced in collaboration with Visit Myrtle Beach, the featured episodes aim to showcase the Grand Strand’s appeal as a camping destination.

The McCabes and their production crew visited multiple sites in the region to capture both the scenery and the guest experience available across the area’s campgrounds.

According to a press release, episode #1 will focus on Ocean Lakes Family Campground, one of the largest and most awarded campgrounds on the East Coast.

The segment will highlight the property’s beachfront RV sites, family-oriented amenities, and insider tips for travelers. The episode is scheduled to air on Discovery on May 17 and stream on YouTube starting May 18.

Episode #2 will also feature WillowTree RV Resort & Campground, located in Longs, S.C., just a short drive inland from the Myrtle Beach shoreline. Viewers can expect footage of its lakeside campsites and serene, spacious settings. The episode will be broadcast on June 7 and made available on YouTube on June 8.

“It was truly amazing to see how many RV campsites are on the oceanfront in Myrtle Beach,” said Kevin, executive producer of “RV There Yet?” “It’s a vacationer’s dream and there is something for everyone.”

In addition to Ocean Lakes and WillowTree, the show will offer glimpses of other popular destinations, including Lakewood Camping Resort, Myrtle Beach KOA Resort, Myrtle Beach Travel Park, North Myrtle Beach RV Resort & Dry Dock Marina, and Pirateland Family Camping Resort.
