David Reed has retired from the board of directors of LCI Industries, effective May 15, after 22 years of service, the company announced. Headquartered in Elkhart, Indiana, LCI Industries is a supplier of engineered components to the recreational vehicle and transportation markets.
Reed, who joined the board in 2003, played an active role in the company’s long-term strategic planning and governance.
He served on the audit committee, risk committee, and strategy, acquisition, and capital deployment committee.
Prior to his work with LCI Industries, Reed spent 26 years at Ernst & Young LLP. During his time there, he held senior leadership roles in U.S. and global operations, administration, and marketing, indirectly overseeing more than 100,000 team members.
He also served on the firm’s management committee and global executive council before retiring as senior vice chair in 2000.
Following his departure from Ernst & Young, Reed became president of a privately held family investment management firm. He has also served on the boards of several public, venture-backed, and private equity-owned companies.
“LCI Industries has been incredibly fortunate to have David Reed serve on our board of directors for over two decades,” Tracy Graham, LCI Industries’ chairman of the board, said in a press release.
“His deep financial expertise, thoughtful governance insights, and steady leadership have helped shape the company. On behalf of the entire board and leadership team, we thank David for his commitment to LCI Industries and wish him the best,” Graham added.
Jason Lippert, LCI Industries’ president and chief executive officer, also praised Reed’s contributions, stating, “David’s counsel and support have been invaluable to me personally and to the organization as a whole.”
“His experience, perspective, and integrity have guided the company through transformative periods, and his legacy will continue to be felt for years to come. We are truly grateful for his decades of service,” Lippert noted.
LCI Industries, traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol LCII, operates globally through its Lippert brand.
The company serves original equipment manufacturers and aftermarket customers across the RV, marine, automotive, and transportation industries.
