Cruise Tales Launches Halloween-Themed Pet-Friendly Glamping Event in Florida

Cruise Tales, a travel brand known for pet-friendly cruise experiences, is expanding its offerings with the introduction of a land-based retreat.

The company has announced the launch of its first glamping event, the Happy Tails Glamping Getaway, which will take place October 30 through November 3 on a 90-acre private property in High Springs, Florida.

The five-day event is designed for dog owners seeking a seasonal getaway that includes their pets, according to a press release.

Guests will stay in air-conditioned tiny cabins, each offering at least one queen bed and set under oak trees draped in Spanish moss. A few cabins feature two beds and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

“We created the Happy Tails Glamping Getaway to offer something truly special—an escape where dog lovers can celebrate the magic of the season without leaving their furry family members behind,” said Dawn von Graff, CEO of Cruise Tales.

The itinerary features several themed activities centered on both dogs and their owners. “Tails from the Haunted Trail” offers a Halloween-themed walking trail with costumed pets, seasonal decorations, and trick-or-treat stations.

Another event, the “Haunting Stargazers Surprise,” promises an evening experience under the stars, with specific details kept confidential by organizers.

Guests will also participate in themed dining events, including a haunted s’mores night with festive lighting and décor. Meals will be prepared by an on-site chef.

Packages for the all-inclusive retreat are priced at $1,999 for up to two guests and one dog, or $2,499 for up to four guests and one dog. The rate covers lodging, meals, planned events, and pet-inclusive activities.

Only 45 cabins are available for the event, positioning the getaway as a boutique experience for guests seeking a quieter, more personal atmosphere. According to the company, the retreat emphasizes creating an environment where pets are not only welcomed but central to the experience.

For outdoor hospitality business owners, the event presents a case study in experiential tourism with a strong niche focus.

By targeting pet owners—an increasingly influential travel segment—and delivering a themed, immersive experience, Cruise Tales is tapping into demand for inclusive, lifestyle-based travel offerings.

This approach may hold insights for operators seeking to diversify offerings or create themed packages to attract specific guest demographics.
