ROCK ISLAND (Ill.) — Authorities say that one person was killed in a car accident near the KOA campground in Illinois on Sunday morning.
Brian Gustafson, Rock Island County Coroner, stated that a Rock Island woman, 49, was declared dead on the spot.
Crews responded to a 2-vehicle collision with injuries in Rock Island’s 2300 block of 78th Avenue W. at 12:00 a.m. on Sunday.
The incident was reported by police as a result of alcohol consumption, although it is not known how much and to what extent.
