Coachella Lakes RV Resort, a luxury RV destination in California’s Coachella Valley, is planning a full slate of activities for Labor Day weekend, offering guests an upscale outdoor hospitality experience.
The weekend events will run from Friday, August 29, through Sunday, August 31, and are designed to engage families, RV travelers, and seasonal visitors seeking recreation and relaxation ahead of the fall travel season.
Located minutes from Palm Springs and Palm Desert, Coachella Lakes RV Resort combines modern amenities with a scenic desert backdrop, offering more than 350 full-service RV sites and a selection of luxury vacation rentals.
Amenities include multiple pools and spas, lakes, and an 18-hole putting course, reflecting the resort’s emphasis on blending outdoor leisure with comfort.
“We’re closing out summer with a Labor Day Weekend celebration full of fun, family-friendly activities — and you’re invited! Join us for three days of excitement, creativity, and relaxation,” the campground indicates in a press release on July 16.
The weekend kicks off on Friday with a putting tournament at 4 p.m. at the resort’s green, followed by a dive-in movie night at the clubhouse pool featuring Guardians of the Galaxy at 8 p.m. The Friday events are designed to welcome guests and set a casual tone for the holiday weekend.
Saturday’s programming begins at 9 a.m. Pup Cup Social at the on-site dog park, inviting pet owners to connect while their dogs play.
At 10 a.m., a tie-dye party will be held at the clubhouse, followed by rock painting at noon and a water fight in the pickleball grass area at 2 p.m. The day wraps with indoor games and entertainment at 4 p.m., offering a climate-controlled alternative to outdoor activities.
Sunday’s feature event, an ice cream social, will take place at noon in the clubhouse, capping off a weekend of family-oriented fun.
Designed for both short- and long-term visitors, the resort’s location near Joshua Tree National Park provides guests with easy access to hiking trails, natural hot springs, and the surrounding desert landscape.
Its proximity to major Southern California destinations also supports off-site exploration without the congestion of city-based lodging.
