Wild Lotus to Open Luxury Glamping Destination in St. Vincent and the Grenadines

St. Vincent and the Grenadines is poised to elevate its eco-tourism offerings with the debut of Wild Lotus Caribbean‘s luxury glamping site. This venture combines high-end comfort with immersive nature experiences, inviting travelers to explore the island’s pristine landscapes in a refined style. Wild Lotus Glamping St. Vincent will open its doors from December 1 to June 30, 2025.

Nestled within a wild bird sanctuary, the glamping site will feature 10 Lotus Belle tents positioned among lush breadfruit trees along the Grand Sable River. Guests can enjoy upscale amenities, including plush double beds with Egyptian cotton sheets and premium coffee makers. The location also offers views of the ocean on the eastern horizon, as well as the canopy nesting sites of the Amazona Guildingii, an endangered parrot species native to St. Vincent.

According to an article published by Caribbean Loop News, Vincent and the Grenadines’ Minister of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Sustainable Development, and Culture, Carlos James, highlighted the importance of this endeavor, saying, “There are just 750 Amazona Guildingii on planet Earth. This stunning bird is only found here, in St. Vincent & the Grenadines. The opportunity to spend ‘me time’ glamping in nature, in the habitat of an endangered species, is as precious as the bird itself. This is the Caribbean you are looking for.”

The glamping experience extends beyond luxury accommodations. Wild Lotus Caribbean is committed to tourism, partnering with local farmers to promote sustainable agricultural practices.

Wellness therapies, including yoga and riverside massages, are also offered in natural settings to foster a meaningful connection with the island’s ecology. Vennetta Johnston, CEO of Wild Lotus Caribbean, described their mission, stating, “Working with farmers is central to our approach to regenerative tourism, and wellness therapies just feel better delivered in the rainforest and by the river.”

Staff at the site include experienced forestry guides and wellness practitioners, available to help guests engage deeply with nature. Visitors can learn about the island’s ecology and discover ways to support endangered species in habitats affected by climate change.
