Spot2Nite has added properties operated by Summerhill Resorts to its campground booking marketplace, expanding the online travel platform’s presence in the Canadian outdoor hospitality sector.
The partnership gives Summerhill Resorts’ participating campgrounds and RV resorts access to Spot2Nite’s distribution network through a single property management system connection.
The integration allows travelers to instantly book participating properties across multiple outdoor travel and RV-focused platforms.
Summerhill Resorts operates 20 campground, RV resort and resort cottage properties across Ontario and Alberta. The company’s destinations include locations in Kawartha Lakes, Prince Edward County, the Ottawa Valley and Eastern Ontario.
The agreement broadens the visibility of Summerhill’s Ontario properties among both Canadian and United States travelers searching for campground and RV accommodations online. The platform said its distribution network reaches more than 69 million campers annually.
The network includes RVezy, which the company identified as Canada’s leading RV rental marketplace, along with other booking and travel platforms such as Campendium, Good Sam, Outdoorsy, ReserveAmerica, Roadtrippers and RVshare.
The partnership is part of Spot2Nite’s continued expansion into the Canadian campground marketplace as the company seeks to add more campground and RV park operators to its platform ahead of the peak travel season.
Summerhill Resorts said its portfolio serves transient campers, seasonal guests and vacation rental travelers during its operating season, which runs from May through October. The company’s properties include amenities such as golf courses, swimming pools, aqua parks, sports courts and organized family activities.
Spot2Nite said campground operators in Ontario and the United States can submit listing requests through the company’s partner portal as it continues to expand its marketplace inventory.
According to the company, Spot2Nite connects with property management software providers and distribution channels to support real-time campground and outdoor accommodation bookings across North America.
