Salmon Arm Camping Resort in Shuswap, British Columbia, has released details of its 2025 seasonal offerings, including updated rates and minimum stay requirements for RV sites and cabins.
The family-oriented resort, positioned midway between Calgary and Vancouver, continues to promote itself as a destination for both short-term and extended stays, serving travelers exploring the northern gateway to the Okanagan Valley.
The resort offers RV sites equipped with 30-amp power, water, and sewer, along with fire pits and picnic tables.
Options range from pull-through to back-in sites, allowing flexibility for different types of RV travelers. For the 2025 season, full hook-up RV sites were priced at $69 per night or $455 per week during the high season, which ran from June 20 to September 2.

In the low season, rates fall to $49 per night or $310 per week. Rates include four guests and one pet, with additional charges of $3 per night for children under 16 and $5 per night for extra adults.
Reservations for RV sites require a two-night minimum stay, while long weekends or special events may have different requirements at management’s discretion. Drop-in one-night stays remain an option for travelers passing through without reservations.
The resort also features one- and two-bedroom cabins that accommodate up to six people. Cabins are equipped with electricity, heaters, bar fridges, and outdoor amenities such as picnic tables and fire pits, though they do not include plumbing.

Guests have access to shared washroom and shower facilities near the playground and office. Cabin guests are required to bring their own bedding and cooking supplies.
For 2025, one-bedroom cabins are priced at $90 per night or $585 per week during high season and $75 per night or $490 per week in the low season.
Two-bedroom cabins are set at $115 per night or $740 per week during high season and $90 per night or $595 per week in the low season.
Cabin reservations require a three-night minimum stay during high season, and during weekends in the low season.

The resort’s outdoor pool is scheduled to open at the end of June (exact date to be determined) and will remain available until September 2, aligning with the summer peak period.
For business owners in the outdoor hospitality sector, Salmon Arm Camping Resort’s structured pricing and stay requirements illustrate how operators balance seasonal demand, guest capacity, and operational planning.
The distinction between high and low season rates, along with minimum stay policies, reflects a broader industry approach to managing occupancy and maximizing revenue during peak travel periods, while still accommodating flexibility for transient travelers.
