The Eiling Kramer Campground (Saskatchewan, Canada) had a busy camping season in 2021 and is anticipating similar numbers this year.
According to a report, the town has announced that the total number of campsite reservations at the Eiling Kramer Campground almost doubled from 2020 to 2021. In 2020, there were 499 reservations, but by 2021 the number jumped to 948.
At its March 21 town council, the town’s Parks and Recreation Director Jordan Schechtel said the campground was returning to pre-pandemic levels in 2021, “I think it will be similar or higher going into 2022,” Schechtel told the council.
The Eiling Kramer Campground was affected by the pandemic restrictions imposed on all campgrounds on 2020.
The campground’s opening was delayed to June 1 because of restrictions.
It was initially restricted up to 50% capacity, and the provincial restrictions in place also prevented bookings outside of the province.
There were no restrictions at the campground in 2021.
