The Mike Molino RV Learning Center has opened its application process for the 2025–2026 College Scholarship Program.
The $2,500 scholarship is intended to assist undergraduates who are either currently employed in the RV industry, dependents of RV industry employees, or students pursuing a career in the RV industry after graduation.
The deadline to submit applications and all supporting materials is July 11, 2025. Eligible applicants must be rising sophomores, juniors, or seniors at an accredited four-year college or university.
Additional eligibility criteria include maintaining a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8, an SAT score of at least 1040 or an ACT composite score of 22, and the ability to demonstrate a willingness to contribute toward their own educational expenses.
Applicants are also required to submit a 500-word essay outlining their college and career goals, a completed Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form from their website, and a fully completed application package.
The program is not open to dealer principals or their families and dependents.
This year’s scholarship marks the 34th time the award has been given since the program began in 2000.
The initiative was established with the support of Joanne and Newt Kindlund, co-founders of Holiday RV Superstores, which was the first RV dealership to be publicly traded.
According to the Learning Center, Newt Kindlund “remains an active participant in RV industry affairs and is a director emeritus on the Learning Center’s board of directors.”
In 2024, the Kindlund family increased its contribution to the program, raising the endowment to $370,000.
Since its inception, the Mike Molino RV Learning Center has awarded $82,500 in scholarships to 33 students through this fund.
Dealers are encouraged to inform eligible employees of the scholarship opportunity. Posters promoting the program are available as free downloads here.
