VanLife Campers is set for a major expansion with the acquisition of an 85,000-square-foot facility in Montreal, marking a significant step for the Quebec-based manufacturer of premium campervans.
The move, scheduled for early 2026, will mark a stage for increased production and new employment opportunities.
The company confirmed the development in a statement, describing the acquisition as “a major milestone in our journey and [one that] reaffirms our position as a leader in premium van conversions in Quebec and across Canada.”
The expansion is expected to substantially boost output. According to the company, the new facility will allow it to “significantly increase our production capacity, create numerous new jobs across several departments, and continue investing in local expertise and talent.”
Founded in 2017, VanLife Campers has established itself as what it calls “the number one manufacturer of 4-season campervans in Canada.” The company has built its reputation on off-grid, year-round vans designed and produced in Quebec.
The business has experienced steady growth for nearly a decade. Its statement highlighted a mission “to provide you with premium vans that are fully off-grid, 4-season ready, designed and built here, so you can experience adventure every day.”
VanLife Campers attributed its expansion to long-term support from its workforce, business partners, and customer base. “A huge thank you to our team, our partners, and especially to you who have supported us since the beginning. Together, we’re writing the next chapter of this amazing adventure,” the company said in a Facebook post.
Each year, the company delivers more than 100 campervans to customers, a scale made possible by what it describes as “efficient production systems and optimised engineering processes.”
Product design remains central to its strategy. Its models are marketed as providing “autonomy, comfort and daily adventures all year round,” with a focus on combining durability with lifestyle-oriented features.
