Parks Canada, the agency responsible for protecting Canada’s national parks, historic sites, and marine conservation areas, has announced that visitors will soon be able to start booking reservations for camping and other activities.
As per a report, the reservation system, which has undergone major upgrades, will be available online in March.
“We’re moving our reservation system to a new platform! The look and feel will be different, but the features and functions will be similar. Because of this change, Parks Canada will be launching reservations for the 2023 season starting in March.” Parks Canada’s website post indicated.
The upgraded reservation system will look different from the previous one but will still offer the same features and functions.
Visitors are urged to save information about their previous bookings before February 26, as all users will be required to create a new user account on the upgraded system after March 3r.
The reservation dates, which are already posted online, vary by park, site, and area, so visitors are encouraged to check in advance.
Parks Canada’s decision to upgrade its reservation system is driven by the need to provide a more seamless and efficient visitor experience.
The agency recognizes that camping and other activities at its sites are a popular pastime for many Canadians. It wants to ensure that the booking process is as smooth and stress-free as possible.
With the new reservation system, visitors can make their reservations quickly and confidently, knowing that their plans will be secure.
Parks Canada is working hard to provide the best possible experience for visitors to its national parks, historic sites, and marine conservation areas.
