Exciting Updates Await at Jellystone Park Locations in Eastern Canada for the 2023 Season

Get ready for a thrilling season of family fun as Jellystone Park locations in eastern Canada gear up with new attractions, activities, and accommodation options for the upcoming year.

As part of their ongoing commitment to providing exceptional outdoor experiences for guests, Jellystone Park franchisees have worked tirelessly to enhance their locations, ensuring visitors have a memorable and enjoyable stay.

As per a release, Trent Hershenson, the vice president of Marketing for Camp Jellystone, the Michigan-based company that franchises Jellystone Park Camp-Resorts across Canada and the United States, shared his excitement about the updates.

“Our franchisees are always working to improve their locations, so each year, there are new attractions or games or new accommodation options at Jellystone Park,” said Hershenson.

One of the locations that will feature exciting new additions is Kingston, Nova Scotia. Visitors to this park can look forward to a disc golf practice park, an outdoor gym, and a 3-on-3 basketball court, adding to the existing attractions such as a 25-foot inflatable water slide, zero-entry swimming pool, gem mining, and duck races.

For those seeking a unique accommodation experience, a motorhome will also be available for rent this year. The park is set to open on May 12, welcoming families and adventure-seekers alike.

Meanwhile, five new three-bedroom park model rentals have been added to the location in Niagara Falls, Ontario. But the excitement doesn’t stop there! Visitors can also look forward to themed weeks such as “Shark Invasion Week” in June, featuring shark crafts, a shark tooth scavenger hunt, and the first annual “Great White Shark Water War.”

“Super Spy Week” will take center stage in August with fun crafts, brain teasers, and a whodunit mystery scavenger hunt. Themed weeks will also include wagon rides and visits from Yogi Bear, Boo Boo, and Ranger Smith, adding to the immersive experience. Additionally, the location boasts Canada’s largest inflatable water slide, an impressive 34 feet tall, and an 18-hole miniature golf course. The park opens for the season on April 28, promising endless entertainment for families and adventure enthusiasts.

Woodstock, New Brunswick, is also not to be outdone with its exciting updates. This location will introduce “magical maze games” that require strategy and coordination to navigate each maze, offering guests a unique and challenging experience. In addition, gel blaster challenge games will pit opposing teams against each other in fast-paced battles to see who can blast their opponents the fastest. The gel pellets are made from all-natural, non-toxic, non-irritating, starch-based material that bursts on contact and evaporates, leaving no stains, residue, or mess. Adding to the accommodation options, Woodstock unveiled two Glamping Bunkies, two-story cabins featuring three queen-size beds, a mini kitchen, and a propane barbecue. With 32 cabin rentals in six different configurations, guests can choose the perfect option to suit their needs. The park opens for the season on June 1, promising a magical and adventurous experience for all.

Jellystone Park locations are renowned for their family-friendly attractions, activities, and beloved Yogi Bear costumed characters. Themed weekends throughout the season offer various activities, from family sporting events to Easter, Christmas, and Halloween themes, complete with games and prizes.

With over 75 locations across the United States and Canada, Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resorts are popular for families seeking an unforgettable outdoor getaway filled with adventure, fun, and memories that will last a lifetime. Each park is independently owned and operated, allowing unique and personalized experiences at each location.
