Voyager RV wrapped up its 41st Anniversary Open House RV Sale this weekend in Lake Country, marking the start of the summer travel season with big savings, community events, and strong buyer interest.
According to an article by Castanet, with lower interest rates and a rising demand for local getaways, the timing of the event couldn’t have been better.
“All the stars are aligning right now, so the end of this month is going to be the time to make the move if someone’s in the market for an RV,” said Voyager owner Jason Friesen ahead of the event.
The four-day sale, which ran from May 29 through June 1, brought major discounts across Voyager’s wide inventory—from lightweight trailers to luxurious motorhomes—along with barbecue lunches, supplier giveaways, and storewide deals on parts and accessories.
Throughout the weekend, shoppers packed the dealership to explore the latest models and take advantage of the limited-time offers.
“We welcome anyone, even if they’re not really in the market to buy, just to come out and see what’s new and the latest and the greatest,” said Friesen.
Voyager came well-prepared with inventory to meet diverse needs, including compact models ideal for SUV towing and fully equipped fifth wheels.
Friesen noted a growing trend among buyers opting to stay closer to home, driven by a renewed appreciation for Canadian destinations and a desire for more flexible travel options.
“We’re seeing a new a new group of buyer coming into the market that wants to camp for the next two to three years in Canada,” he said. “And there’s no better place in the world to camp.”
Despite industry challenges in recent years, including supply chain disruptions and economic shifts, the RV sector has remained resilient.
This year’s arrival of 2026 models brought only modest, expected price adjustments, and Voyager’s sale made RV ownership even more attainable for many.
“The promo offer is pretty hard to pass up for the people who are in the market to buy an RV,” Friesen added.
Events like Voyager’s anniversary sale reflect not just seasonal excitement but broader momentum.
With increased consumer interest in road travel, strong dealership engagement, and stable pricing, the industry continues to thrive.
