Indigenous-Owned Salish Seaside RV Resort Blends Cultural Heritage with Coastal Hospitality

Salish Seaside RV Resort and Marina, located on the traditional territories of the Esquimalt Nation near Victoria, British Columbia, continues to offer guests a distinctive hospitality experience rooted in Indigenous culture and connection to the land.

The resort, owned and operated by Indigenous partners, invites visitors to explore the beauty of Esquimalt Harbor and the surrounding landscapes while learning about the heritage of the Lekwungen-speaking peoples.

“We invite you to experience the beauty of our ancestral lands here at Salish Seaside RV Resort & Marina,” the resort shared. “As an Indigenous-owned retreat, we take great pride in sharing our heritage and the rich cultural tapestry of the Lekwungen-speaking peoples.”

The resort’s operations are guided by the founders’ commitment to preserving cultural traditions while creating a welcoming environment for visitors.

“Our founders are dedicated to ensuring that the traditions of our people live on, while offering a welcoming space where visitors can connect with nature, our shared history, and the spirit of this land,” the team stated.

Situated in Esquimalt Harbour, Salish Seaside RV Resort offers several accommodation options with varying amenities and seasonal rates.

The resort’s Thunderbird and Eagle sites, both designed for larger motorhomes, provide waterfront access and full services. Interior and marina-view options—Raven and Hummingbird sites—accommodate smaller motorhomes, trailers, and fifth-wheels.

Each site includes water, sewer, and electrical hookups, along with access to laundry facilities, bathrooms, complimentary Wi-Fi, and a clubhouse.
