Golden Riverfront Campground in Golden, British Columbia, has announced a range of year-round camping options, including new winter stays and expanded amenities aimed at both short-term visitors and long-term guests.
From October 1 through March 31, the campground will serve as a winter basecamp, offering powered RV sites with access to a sani-dump and fresh water fill-up. Rates are set at $25 per night, $150 per week, or $550 per month.
Monthly guests also receive a 10% discount at Mister’s Doggy Daycare, a newly introduced service at the property.

The daycare facility is designed for both locals and campground visitors who want a supervised environment for their dogs while they explore the surrounding area.
According to their website, the service features small group sizes, adventure walks, and play opportunities.
In addition to winter accommodations, Golden Riverfront Campground offers a variety of year-round lodging options, including dry cabins with electricity and dry kitchens, walk-in and drive-in tent sites, glamping tents, yurts, and a deluxe apartment capable of hosting up to eight guests.

RV travelers can choose from non-serviced sites, 30-amp sites with water and electricity, 30-amp sites with full hookups, and premium 50-amp pull-through sites.
For outdoor enthusiasts, the location provides access to hiking trails, fishing, mountain biking, and winter sports such as skiing and snowboarding in the surrounding mountain region.
With rates and accommodation types designed to appeal to a range of campers, the campground is positioning itself as a flexible destination that accommodates both traditional campers and travelers seeking extended stays with modern amenities.

For business owners in the outdoor hospitality industry, Golden Riverfront’s approach highlights a trend toward diversification of offerings to attract different market segments.
By expanding services to include pet care, long-term winter camping options, and varied lodging—from rustic cabins to fully serviced RV sites—the campground demonstrates how operators can adapt to shifting consumer demand.
The inclusion of discounted services for long-term guests also signals the growing importance of building loyalty among seasonal campers.
