British Columbia’s Rivers Edge Glampground Combines Nature and Comfort for Modern Travelers

Rivers Edge Glampground is bringing a new level of comfort to outdoor stays in British Columbia’s Chilliwack River Valley, offering travelers an upscale alternative to traditional camping with its luxury glamping tents and curated nature experiences.

Situated along the Chilliwack River, the family-owned property combines boutique-style amenities with the natural setting of the surrounding mountains, forest, and waterways.

The site’s Teardrop Luxury Canvas Glamping Tents cater primarily to couples seeking an intimate experience in nature without sacrificing modern comforts.

Each tent features a queen-sized bed, a mini fridge, a Nespresso machine, and a private patio overlooking the river. Guests can also access shared amenities such as heated outdoor showers, washroom facilities, and campfire areas.

The glampground encourages visitors to unplug and immerse themselves in the outdoors while still providing Wi-Fi for those who need connectivity.

Activities available in the area include hiking, biking, swimming, paddling, and fishing, as well as river rafting, wildlife watching, and exploring nearby attractions such as Cultus Lake Water Park, Bridal Falls, and Harrison Hot Springs.

Visitors can also explore District 1881, a revitalized area of Chilliwack featuring local shops, dining options, and craft beverage producers.

Rivers Edge Glampground also announced the addition of a new site for the 2025 season—Brookside Luxe Glampsite—which offers views of the Chilliwack River and surrounding peaks.

The new site features the property’s “Stargazer” tent, designed to provide panoramic views of the night sky.

For professionals in the outdoor hospitality and glamping sectors, Rivers Edge offers a glimpse into the growing demand for elevated outdoor accommodations that merge comfort, design, and nature-based experiences.
