The British Columbia Lodging and Campgrounds Association (BCLCA) has announced the addition of new members and suppliers, strengthening its network across the province’s outdoor hospitality industry.
Beaverview RV Park & Campground, located in McBride, has joined as an active member. According to its website, the campground offers travelers a chance to extend their stay and explore the Robson Valley in British Columbia.
Located along Highway 16, just two kilometers east of McBride, the campground also features convenient access for large RVs and proximity to the Village of McBride’s shops and restaurants.
Situated between the Rocky Mountains to the north and the Cariboo range to the south, the park serves as a stopover for visitors traveling between Jasper and Prince George, heading to Alaska, or continuing west to Prince Rupert.
The campground also offers access to local attractions, including The Bluff Trail, which supports hiking, trail running, horseback riding, mountain biking, and other outdoor activities.
Nearby, the Ancient Forest—designated Chun T’oh Wudujut Provincial Park in 2016—offers visitors a chance to see Western Red Cedar trees estimated to be more than 1,000 years old. It has become a recognized hiking destination in British Columbia.
Park officials say Beaverview offers an ideal base for visitors seeking to enjoy the scenery and recreational opportunities throughout the Robson Valley.
In the supporting member category, Polaris Advisory, based in Lac Le Jeune, has come on board.
The association also welcomed LORDCO Auto Parts as a new supplier member. The company offers RV parts and accessories suitable for campground stores and maintenance operations.
LORDCO Auto Parts was founded in 1974 by Roy Lord and Ed Coates in Maple Ridge, British Columbia. Over the years, the company has expanded its footprint across the province, building a reputation for dependable auto parts and service.
LORDCO is marking its 50th anniversary. The company credits its customers, employees, and partners for contributing to its longevity and continued success in the automotive and RV parts industry.
