The British Columbia Lodging and Campgrounds Association (BCLCA) has welcomed new supplier members as part of its ongoing efforts to expand industry resources for operators across the province.
The announcement comes as the association’s fall events, including the Western Ideas Forum and AccomEx, approach.
Kampwise, a Canadian-based technology provider for campgrounds, is among the new suppliers. The company is participating in both the Western Ideas Forum and AccomEx. Its inclusion highlights the growing role of digital solutions in campground management.
“Kampwise is a proudly Canadian technology built for campgrounds,” the announcement said in its introduction to BCLCA members. The platform offers a complete management and booking solution that automates seasonal contracts, electronic signatures, and online payments.
According to the company, the system is designed to reduce administrative work and improve efficiency for operators. Features include a booking engine, interactive maps, and a built-in point-of-sale system. These tools enable campground staff to oversee reservations, site management, and guest services in one platform.
Kampwise also emphasizes flexibility, noting that its integrations and smart tools can adapt to different operational realities. Campers are able to book, pay, and manage their stay independently, aligning with broader industry trends toward self-service technology.
Another new supplier welcomed by BCLCA is Alteri Insurance Brokers Inc., a full-service brokerage that specializes in home and commercial insurance. The firm has positioned itself as a partner for lodging and camping businesses, offering tailored coverage options.
Alteri Insurance Brokers Inc. works with insurers to deliver packages for campgrounds, RV parks, lodges, and resorts. These policies aim to address property protection, liability, and other risks specific to the hospitality sector.
Alteri emphasizes a client-first approach backed by deep industry knowledge. They aim to make insurance simple, personalized, and reliable for business owners navigating a complex risk environment.
Coverage options are designed to provide peace of mind, according to the company, allowing campground and lodging operators to focus on guest experiences and business growth.
