BCLCA Welcomes Foxtrot Dairy Campground in Enderby as New Active Member

The BC Lodging and Campgrounds Association (BCLCA) has announced the addition of Foxtrot Dairy Campground in Enderby, British Columbia, as a new active member.

The family-owned business combines agricultural tourism with camping accommodations, offering guests the opportunity to experience dairy farming firsthand.

Foxtrot Dairy Store and Campground operates on a working dairy farm and provides visitors with a mix of educational tours and rural camping amenities.

The property features 10 campsites, each equipped with a picnic table and fire pit, with a flush toilet and shower available onsite.

While the sites do not have direct hookups, a water line is provided for RV filling, and a sani-dump is located in nearby Salmon Arm.

As part of its lodging package, the campground offers two dairy tour passes with each first-night booking. Guests can choose between a 45-minute general dairy tour or a longer, two-hour dairy milking tour, which is available by special booking.

“Our dairy tours are approximately 45 minutes and cover just the basics,” the campground’s website indicates. “Tours will see the calf housing, heifer groups, and finally the milking herd. All participants will be required to wear plastic booties for biosecurity.”

The farm experience extends beyond the tours. Guests can visit the Foxtrot Dairy Store, which offers local meats, gourmet dairy products, and branded merchandise, including mugs, water bottles, and hats.

The business promotes itself as “your farm adventure awaits,” inviting guests to immerse themselves in the sights and sounds of dairy life. Visitors can wake up to the sound of livestock and the scents of the countryside, creating what the owners describe as “a fresh start” each morning.

According to its website, BCLCA represents independently owned and operated small- and mid-sized lodging, campground, and RV park businesses across British Columbia.

The association is membership-driven and works to advance the interests of its members through advocacy, marketing, and industry support. BCLCA is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors elected every two years from among its membership.

The association provides a range of services to support its members, including consumer marketing through online and print channels, group purchasing discounts with industry suppliers, and collaboration with other industry organizations to address regulatory challenges.

BCLCA also promotes service excellence, commissions market research, and encourages good business practices through education and adherence to industry standards.

Its work helps strengthen the outdoor hospitality sector in British Columbia by fostering both operational success and visitor satisfaction.
