BCLCA Welcomes Black Brook Lodge and Cedar Grove RV Park & Campground as New Members

The British Columbia Lodging and Campgrounds Association (BCLCA) announced the addition of two new members, Black Brook Lodge and Cedar Grove RV Park & Campground, both located in Qualicum Beach, British Columbia.

The new affiliations reflect BCLCA’s ongoing effort to support and connect hospitality providers across the province.

According to its website, Black Brook Lodge offers a boutique lodging experience along the eastern shore of Vancouver Island.

Designed for small groups and gatherings, the property includes seven bedrooms, each with ensuite bathrooms, and 10 beds accommodating up to 16 guests.

Situated in Qualicum Bay, Black Brook Lodge features a 4,000-square-foot venue ideal for various events including business retreats, reunions, and workshops.

On-site amenities include a commercial kitchen, large common area, performance stage, bar, and free parking for 15 vehicles.

The lodge is positioned near local attractions such as beaches, shops, hiking trails, and food trucks, offering guests both convenience and access to outdoor recreation. The property is designed to support both intimate stays and group events.

Cedar Grove RV Park & Campground, also in Qualicum Beach, is a year-round campground located along the Little Qualicum River.

The site spans 12 acres and offers 108 campsites suitable for RVs and tents.

“Our campground is nestled along the Little Qualicum River and boasts a beautiful, clear swimming hole, safe for adults and children in summertime,” the campground’s website indicates. “Our facilities are well maintained and newly refurbished.”

Cedar Grove’s offerings include public washrooms, coin-operated showers, laundry facilities, a children’s play area, and a vintage arcade.

Guests can also choose from dry tenting sites, riverside deluxe tenting, partial-service, or full-service RV sites with water, power, and sewer connections.

One of the campground’s featured accommodations is the ‘Spirit Cabin,’ a beach-themed unit that sleeps four. It includes a queen-size bed in a separate bedroom and a pull-out double bed in the living area.

Designed to accommodate traveling families and outdoor enthusiasts, the park emphasizes both comfort and proximity to nature.

The BCLCA continues to grow its membership to represent a diverse range of lodging and campground businesses throughout British Columbia. New members gain access to advocacy support, marketing resources, and industry-specific education.
