Several British Columbia properties have joined the British Columbia Lodging and Campgrounds Association (BCLCA) as new active members, introducing a range of RV sites, cabins, camping options, and full-service lodging experiences across Vancouver Island, Nicola Lake, Muncho Lake, and Douglas Lake.
The additions expand the variety of outdoor hospitality offerings available to travelers and operators in the region.
Osborne Bay Resort in Crofton is among the newly introduced properties, situated next to the town and along the shores of Vancouver Island. The resort features a combination of natural surroundings and modern conveniences.
The resort offers RV accommodations that include 60 full-service sites and 36 partial-service sites. These options cater to guests seeking different service levels during their stay.
Osborne Bay Resort also provides log cottages equipped with full kitchens and private decks. The property includes a beach cabin designed for guests looking for a secluded experience.
Camping remains a core feature of the resort, with beachside campfires noted as an annual tradition for many returning visitors. The setting supports both short-term stays and repeat seasonal use.
Quilchena Point RV Park in Quilchena has also been added as a participating property. The park is located on the waterfront of Nicola Lake.
The RV park includes 40 units situated near the lake, offering proximity to boating, beach activities, and outdoor exploration opportunities in the surrounding area.
Northern Rockies Lodge, located at Muncho Lake, is another newly listed property. The lodge is positioned along the Alaska Highway between Whitehorse and Fort St. John.
The lodge markets itself as a stop that can save travelers a day on their journey along the route. Its location provides access to the northern tip of the Rocky Mountains.
Northern Rockies Lodge sits between Liard Hot Springs and Toad River with access to the back-country of the Muskwa-Kechika region. The setting supports both highway travelers and back-country visitors.
Facilities at the lodge include a hotel, dining room, lounge, motel, cabins, lakeshore chalets, RV camping, fly-in outpost cabins, a sauna, and a gas station. These offerings allow the property to support a variety of guest needs.
Salmon Lake Resort in Douglas Lake is also included among the newly highlighted members. The resort promotes a range of stay options for different types of travelers.
Available accommodations include multi-room vacation rentals at Stoney Lake Lodge, family camping at Salmon Lake Resort, and private lakeside camping at Crater Lake. The property markets itself to adventure-oriented guests.
