Camping World has completed a major expansion of its St. George, Utah, dealership, transforming the site into one of Southern Utah’s largest RV sales and service hubs.

According to an article by St.George News, the 11.5-acre facility, located on Sunland Drive near Interstate 15, can now display up to 500 RVs and includes a newly constructed state-of-the-art collision center.

“We’re here to take care of you,” said General Manager Jeremy Lamph. “We have people coming from all over the country to buy at this St. George location because of our high level of customer service,” Lamph added.

Camping World first arrived in St. George about a decade ago with the acquisition of Painter’s RV. Its purchase of Nielson RV in 2021 accelerated the company’s growth in the region, leading to a restructuring and two-and-a-half-year expansion process.

The improvements include a redesigned customer area with coffee, water, and popcorn, and a larger lot for both new and used RVs.

A major component of the expansion is the addition of a collision center, which Lamph described as the largest of its kind in the region.

It features an 80-foot paint booth capable of servicing RVs, buses, and commercial vehicles.

“We’re done making dust for a while,” Lamph said. “We’re excited to grow our presence in the community and just be a staple here for a long time to come.”

Camping World is the nation’s largest RV retailer, and the St. George location has access to the company’s national inventory and customer data.

According to Lamph, this helps buyers find the right products and financing options. The dealership also offers models geared toward first-time RV owners, designed to cover basic needs at more affordable prices.

Good Sam, a partner brand under the Camping World umbrella, provides customers with a range of services including roadside assistance, campground access, and fuel discounts.

Lamph emphasized that the partnership offers customers support beyond the purchase process.

“You can tell them you’re leaving from St. George and want to take five days to get to the Redwood parks in California, and they will plan out your trip for you,” he said.

“They’ll book your campgrounds. They’ll do everything for you, so all you have to do is get the itinerary and get on the road,” Lamph added.

The dealership also stocks parts and camping accessories, with the ability to quickly order items not kept in inventory.

Customers can also request specific RV models from across Camping World’s network of over 200 dealerships. Lamph noted that they offer competitive trade-in values and pricing.

“One in every four RVs in the country is purchased at a Camping World,” he said.

“Our network is designed to make sure you’re taken care of as a camper. We’re getting you the very best price you can possibly get on your coach. We also have the highest trade-in values when you’re looking to upgrade,” he added.

The expansion of Camping World St. George reflects broader growth and consolidation within the RV industry, as major retailers invest in infrastructure to meet rising demand for RV travel.
