BCLCA Expands Network With New Members and Suppliers Supporting Outdoor Hospitality Sector

The British Columbia Lodging and Campgrounds Association (BCLCA) has announced the addition of new active members and suppliers, further strengthening its network of businesses supporting outdoor hospitality across the province.

Joining as active members are Mt. Timothy Recreation Resort, located in Lac La Hache, and Rockwater Secret Cove Resort, based in Halfmoon Bay.

Mount Timothy Ski Resort, established in 1988 and under local ownership since 2019, offers a relaxed, family-friendly skiing experience in British Columbia’s Cariboo range, featuring a variety of slopes, cozy on-site cabins, and a dedicated tubing hill for winter recreation.

In addition, Rockwater Secret Cove Resort features a luxury coastal destination. The resort is a secluded oceanfront retreat located on British Columbia’s Sunshine Coast, just two hours from downtown Vancouver.

Surrounded by forest and overlooking the ocean, the resort combines natural beauty with upscale comfort, providing an ideal setting for romantic getaways, family vacations, weddings, and corporate retreats.

The addition of these members reflects BCLCA’s ongoing efforts to broaden its representation within British Columbia’s outdoor hospitality industry. BCLCA supports operators of campgrounds, resorts, and other lodging businesses through advocacy, education, and resource-sharing.

Alongside the new active members, CanMeter has joined as a supplier, offering specialized submetering solutions for campsites. The company provides metering systems tailored to campground environments, emphasizing ease of installation and low visual impact.

CanMeter’s CM-30 model is designed for 30 Amp 120 Volt standard campsites, with larger-capacity options also available. The meters support remote monitoring and numeric readouts keyed to individual sites, allowing property managers to streamline utility tracking.
