A new glamping facility is set to open in Nannup, Western Australia, offering a high-end accommodation experience that could contribute to the region’s growing tourism industry.
Located approximately 280 kilometers from Perth, the development highlights the increasing demand for nature-based luxury stays.
Lakebrook Country Escape will feature four glamping tents equipped with modern amenities, including king-sized beds, freestanding baths, smokeless fire pits, and stargazing roofs.
The property’s owner, Louise Meschiati, said the concept was inspired by a desire to showcase the appeal of Nannup as a tourist destination.
“It’s been my dream for 10 years. The property lends itself to an experience,” Meschiati said in a report by PerthNow. “We’ve got Highland cattle, alpacas, and the tents are situated in a paddock that is alive with kangaroos morning and night.”
The 24-acre property is located just two kilometers from the town center, offering visitors a balance of seclusion and accessibility. While the initial launch will include a limited number of accommodations, Meschiati has plans to expand the offering into a full-scale glamping resort.
“Eventually I’d like to have a masseuse and things like that on-site, so it’s full-on relaxation — adults getting away from it all,” she said.
For operators in the outdoor hospitality industry, the development underscores the growing trend of experiential accommodations that blend luxury with nature.
The rising popularity of glamping has opened new revenue opportunities for campground owners and landowners looking to diversify their offerings.
Businesses considering expansion into the glamping sector may find value in incorporating premium amenities that cater to high-end travelers seeking unique outdoor experiences.
Online bookings for the new accommodation are set to open in the coming weeks, with an official launch expected in early May.
