Victorian Caravan Parks Association Rebrands for Clearer Industry Representation

The Victorian Caravan Parks Association has rebranded as Caravan and Residential Parks Victoria, a change that aims to clarify the organization’s identity and better represent its diverse membership.

The new name, which was first introduced at last year’s conference, replaces VicParks and seeks to eliminate confusion with other entities, including the government agency Parks Victoria and Caravan Industry Victoria, which represents manufacturers and retailers.

“This new business name reflects today’s more diversified association membership and the quality services we deliver to tourist parks and residential park members,” the association stated in a press release.

By adopting a name that more explicitly includes both tourist caravan parks and residential (or land lease) parks, the organization aims to better align with its evolving membership base.

The association noted that a lack of clarity had sometimes caused challenges in regulatory discussions, as stakeholders outside the industry were not always familiar with its scope.

The rebrand is accompanied by a new visual identity, including an updated logo featuring interlinked “V” shapes to symbolize collaboration between the association and its members.

The tagline, “Helping our members succeed since 1964,” reinforces its commitment to advocacy, legal guidance, training, and industry connections.

As an industry-facing organization, Caravan and Residential Parks Victoria continues to focus on supporting business owners in both the tourism and residential accommodation sectors.

The association remains committed to strengthening its advocacy efforts to create a favorable operating environment for caravan park operators, providing compliance training to ensure sustainable business practices, and facilitating valuable industry connections.

“Our new name better depicts who we are, who we represent, and who we service,” the association stated.

For park owners and operators, this rebranding signifies a more targeted approach to industry support.

With a clear identity, the association aims to enhance its influence in regulatory discussions and strengthen its role as a leading advocate for Victoria’s caravan park sector.
