West Beach Parks has partnered with Discovery Parks, effective December 1. This collaboration will see West Beach Parks Holiday Park rebranded as Discovery Parks – West Beach Parks according to an article by Glam Adelaide.
South Australia’s largest holiday park, the facility can host up to 3,000 guests. It offers 338 RV and tent sites, 132 cabins, six eco tents for glamping, and a three-bedroom beach house. Visitors enjoy amenities such as a heated lagoon-style swimming pool, a children’s water park, and a newly developed Central Park play space.
This partnership unites two prominent South Australian brands to enhance visitor experiences and boost regional tourism. Discovery Parks, which operates over 85 holiday parks and resorts nationwide, will contribute its extensive marketing reach and loyalty program, while West Beach Parks continues to manage and operate the facility.
A key aspect of this collaboration is the integration with Discovery Parks’ G’day Rewards program. Members receive a 10% discount on accommodation bookings and exclusive in-park benefits. The rebranding will involve joint sales and marketing efforts, with the park available for booking on both Discovery Parks and G’day Parks platforms to attract a wider audience.
Kate Anderson, CEO of West Beach Parks, stated, “West Beach Parks Holiday Park will have access to Discovery Parks’ strong loyalty members and will be marketed through the Discovery Parks and G’day websites. The partnership will enable us to reach new markets from within South Australia and interstate through complementary marketing activities undertaken by West Beach Parks and Discovery Parks. We look forward to working closely with the Discovery Parks team to make this new partnership a success.”
Grant Wilckens, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Discovery Parks, commented, “West Beach Parks Holiday Park is one of the most exceptional holiday parks in the country and a flagship addition to our much-loved national network of Discovery Parks. This is an exciting partnership for South Australian tourism, and we look forward to working closely with the West Beach Trust to grow visitation to the State through this iconic property.”
Nick Champion, Minister for Housing and Urban Development, emphasized the importance of partnering with a local company employing South Australians. “The partnership will leverage each company’s branding and competitive advantages to help grow visitation”
