Snowy River Caravans Tops Q3 2025 RV Market Report, Marks Historic Double Victory

The Q3 2025 RV Market Brand Consideration Report from Retain Media revealed a major leadership shift in Australia’s recreational vehicle market, with Snowy River Caravans securing the top position in both the imported and RVMAP categories for the first time.

The milestone, based on more than 2.8 million search queries gathered throughout the quarter, marks a turning point in consumer interest and competitive dynamics across the industry.

The report provides a comprehensive look at online brand consideration trends, offering a detailed snapshot of how Australians are engaging with RV manufacturers as travel and leisure habits evolve.

Snowy River Caravans achieved a historic double victory by claiming the top spot in the imported category with 16.2% share, up 7.% , and in the RVMAP category with 10.2% share, up 3.0%. The brand overtook Market Direct (MDC) in both segments after several quarters of MDC’s leadership.

Jayco remained Australia’s most-searched RV brand overall, holding a 24.1% market share. However, this figure represents a 7.0% relative decline from Q2, continuing a gradual softening trend for the long-standing market leader.

Titanium Caravans also posted the strongest relative growth of the quarter, rising from 1.4% to 2.0%—a 42.9% increase that positioned it as the top performer by relative growth in the All Brands category.

Crusader Caravans also showed renewed strength, increasing from 2.2% to 2.5% in All Brands, up 13.6%. The brand climbed to third place in the RVMAP category after an 18.8% relative increase, reflecting strong market recovery.

Market Direct (MDC), a previous leader, experienced notable declines, falling to second place in both the Imported category at 15.1% down 3.8%, and the RVMAP category at 9.5%, down 7.7%.

Lifestyle Campers recorded one of the quarter’s largest downturns, dropping from 2.7% to 2.2%—an 18.5%decrease that erased much of its Q2 progress.

The report also highlighted positive movement from several other brands. Avida rose 9.5% in All Brands, BruderX advanced 22.2% and Zone RV grew 5.3%.

Conversely, Austrack and Ezytrail continued multi-quarter declines, falling 9.1% and 9.7% respectively.

“Q3 2025 marked a pivotal quarter for Australia’s RV market, with Snowy River Caravans’ ascent to the top of both the Imported and RVMAP categories signalling a significant shift in brand dynamics,” Brian Sullivan, director at Retain Media, said in a press release.

“While Jayco maintained its overall dominance despite softening across categories, the quarter’s results reveal a market where brand momentum matters increasingly, with established players facing sustained pressure from rising competitors like Titanium Caravans, which posted a remarkable 42.9 percent surge,” Sullivan added.
