Serenity Gully in Bridgetown, Western Australia, has been named Best Glamping Destination in Australia at the 5th Annual World Luxury Travel Awards held in November 2025.
The recognition positions the property among the country’s leading luxury travel experiences and highlights its focus on sustainability, privacy, and guest satisfaction.
Co-founder Susan Randazzo said the award affirmed their vision for Serenity Gully. “We’re absolutely thrilled and humbled to receive this incredible recognition,” Randazzo said.
“This award validates our vision of creating a truly unique couples’ luxury glamping experience that harmonises five-star comfort with environmental responsibility and complete immersion in nature.”
The World Luxury Travel Awards are regarded as one of the most respected accolades in the luxury tourism sector. Winners are selected through a global voting process involving travel professionals and international travellers.

Other award recipients this year included Aspire Lounge Perth Airport Terminal 1 International and previous winners such as Australia Zoo and True North Luxury Cruises.
Situated three hours south of Perth in Bridgetown’s Southern Forests, Serenity Gully operates on a 478-acre property featuring three eco-tents spaced hundreds of metres apart to ensure guest privacy.
Each site operates off-grid using solar power and rainwater harvesting. Guests have access to outdoor stone bathtubs overlooking the Jarrah forest, fireplaces, and opportunities to observe native wildlife.

Since opening, Serenity Gully has gained recognition within the tourism industry. It received a Silver Medal at the 2023 Western Australian Tourism Awards in its first year of operation and has been featured in multiple Australian and international travel publications.

The owners, Susan and Franco Randazzo, are currently expanding the property with two new steel-and-glass chalets, The Djarraly and The Wandju, along with The Dandjoo, a boutique event space.
“This award comes at an exciting time as we prepare to unveil our new chalets,” said Franco Randazzo. “It reinforces that we’re on the right path in creating something truly special that resonates with travellers seeking authentic luxury experiences in nature.”
For operators in the outdoor hospitality sector, Serenity Gully’s success demonstrates how combining sustainable design with privacy-focused amenities can elevate guest experience and attract international recognition.
