Australia‘s first kombi-based luxury glamping experience, situated on a private farm just ten minutes away from Huonville, Tasmania, offers a romantic creekside glamping experience perfect for couples.
As per a report, Kombi Kamp combines the retro style of the kombi along with the rustic appeal of wooden outbuildings.

The Kamp provides guests with the chance to have an off-grid camp-style experience with all the luxuries, from the open fire pit to the abundant wildlife, stunning private swimming spots, an outdoor shower, a sunny kitchen, and a deck area overlooking the river, and the cozy potbelly stove.

The main attraction is Frida, a restored 1975 blue transporter kombi with a full-sized double bed for a relaxing night. To add a personal touch, Frida comes styled in guests’ preference of theme: Boho Ivory, Mandala Magic, or Flower Power.

Kombi Kamp owners Pam Lane and Nic Smith have resided on the 80-acre property for more than 20 years. Pam stated that Kombi Kamp allows guests to experience the cool kombi atmosphere in a gorgeous rural location.
“The Kamp is exclusively yours for your stay. No sharing, which makes it a perfect venue for couples seeking their own space,” Lane said.
The fully-equipped kitchen hut comes with a butane gas stove to allow quick and efficient gas cooking. The hut also comes with pans, pots, utensils, and a basic pantry that includes locally roasted coffee and a herb garden. Breakfast options like farm-fresh eggs, local bakery bread, milk, and jam are also provided. A Waeco refrigerator is available to keep your food cold.

The Kamp is located within Huon Valley and is a perfect location to explore the local artisanal food and beverage scene, the region’s natural surroundings, and heritage sites.
