Exhibition Park in Canberra will once again host the Canberra Caravan Lifestyle Expo from October 24 to 26, featuring more than 140 exhibitors and a wide range of recreational vehicles, outdoor gear, food, and travel destinations.
The three-day event is positioned as a major showcase for Australia’s caravan and camping industry, offering visitors a comprehensive look at the latest products and travel ideas ahead of the summer season.
Attendees will have the opportunity to explore a diverse mix of exhibitors, including caravan and motorhome manufacturers, camping suppliers, and regional tourism operators. “See the latest products and innovations from over 140 exhibitors all in one place,” organizers said in a statement.
Beyond product displays, the expo will feature interactive zones and presentations designed to educate and entertain. Free daily seminars will offer practical advice on road travel, safety, and outdoor recreation. “Join our free daily seminars for expert tips on enjoying life on the road,” the organizers said.
A key highlight of the weekend will be live presentations by Pat Callinan, one of Australia’s best-known 4×4 and touring experts.
For visitors looking to gain hands-on experience, the event will include a dedicated towing zone, where participants can safely practice towing under expert guidance. The “Give towing a go daily at the live towing zone” program has been designed to build driver confidence and safety awareness.
The family-friendly event will also feature children’s entertainment, with organizers confirming “bungee trampolines, footy toss and jumping castle” activities throughout the weekend. Free parking and accessibility by both road and public transport aim to make the event convenient for visitors from Canberra and beyond.
The expo’s dog-friendly policy is another feature that appeals to families and travelers with pets. “We’re dog friendly so feel free to bring your four-legged friend along for the day,” the statement said.
Adults can attend for AU$16, with concession tickets priced at AU$12. Entry is free for children 16 years and under. The event will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
Organizers said the expo is “the biggest and best event in Canberra for everything RV and outdoors,” positioning it as a one-stop shop for travel inspiration and product comparison. The event serves as a key marketplace for manufacturers and suppliers looking to engage with consumers ahead of the peak travel season.
