A peer-to-peer RV rental platform is boasting strong growth despite challenges in tourism.
Online sharing platform Camplify reported a substantial growth year-to-year in rental transactions and listings for the fourth quarter of the 2021-22 fiscal year.
The ASX-listed RV business reported $17.7 million in transactions for the quarter, an 82.8% increase over last year’s corresponding period, according to a report.
Customer numbers grew by 67,180, partly due to the acquisition of platforms Mighway and ShareaCamper. The company’s total RV fleet increased to 9,926, a 61.11% growth year-to-year.
Despite continued impact of COVID and impact of Australian East Coast widespread flooding, Camplify continued its pattern of growth and scale,” said Camplify to shareholders.
Camplify said it held its AU$14.78 million in future bookings, which is up over 112% compared to the same period last year. It reported “significant growth numbers” in all regions it operates, including the UK, France, and New Zealand.
It also reported unaudited total net revenue of AU$5.6 million for the quarter.
Founded in 2015, Camplify is one of Australia’s leading peer-to-peer RV online rental platforms and was listed on the Australian Stock Exchange in mid-2021.
