The winter campaign #DubaiDestinations is back this year, following the guidance by Dubai Media Council Chairman Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to show the unique things to do and activities that have made the Emirate an ideal choice among international destinations during the colder winter months.
The joint campaign, developed through Brand Dubai, the creative division that is part of the Government of Dubai Media Office (GDMO), highlights various events and experiences that the public can experience during the glorious winter weather, according to a report by Tourism Breaking News.
This time of year, Dubai offers residents and visitors an amazing experience in adventures, entertainment, food arts, and culture, as well as fitness and sports experiences and much more.
Engaging content from various parties This campaign will tell the story of Dubai’s rise as one of the top winter destinations.
To commemorate the official launch of the campaign brand, Dubai hosted an event for the media, influencers, and content creators at the Government of Dubai Media Office to highlight the activities and experiences that the new campaign is bringing to both global and local audiences.
Brand Dubai also announced the launch of the #DubaiDestinations website www.dubaidestinations.ae, which will share content, videos, and guides related to the campaign.
Affirming Dubai’s strengths, an international study published at the end of last month identified the Emirate as to be the “world’s best winter-sun destination.”
According to The Winter Sun Index issued by travel package provider ParkSleepFly, Dubai has been featured on Instagram over 111 million times. It also has the most winter-related “things that you should accomplish” Google searches worldwide, up to 55,000.
The iconic city is fortunate to have more than 8 hours of sunshine each day and an annual average of 20.4 degrees centigrade during winter. A different study conducted by Remote, the world’s leading talent consultancy, published last month, placed Dubai as the second-best winter destination for digital nomads.

The initiative will showcase the covetable culture, fascinating food, pristine beaches, stunning mountain landscapes, unique modern lifestyle, exciting adventures, centuries-old heritage, and futuristic cityscapes that Dubai offers,” said the Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council and GDMO Mona Al Marri.
“The campaign will weave together compelling narratives from diverse sources about what makes Dubai a truly unique place to visit and explore. Content creators of all nationalities can participate in the campaign by contributing their unique stories and creative content about Dubai’s attractiveness as a winter destination. The campaign aims to convey Dubai’s distinctive character that combines its modern spirit and cosmopolitan ethos with its rich history and heritage,” She added.
This season’s #DubaiDestinations promotion, which runs through February 2023, invites the local and international crowd to experience Dubai’s unique winter-time attractions on sky, land, and water.
The three elements of ‘Land,’ the sky, and water” form the basis of the collaboration campaign. The ultimate goal is to increase the appeal of Dubai as a popular destination that offers unique experiences and experiences.
The Hatta region is the main area of focus for the campaign. The region’s beautiful mountain scenery, archaeological sites, and other tourist attractions, including The Hatta Fort, the Hatta Dam, The Hatta Heritage Village, and the Hatta Hill Park, will be prominently highlighted throughout the campaign.
