A luxury glamping site has made its debut at Miyawaki Kaigan Koen seaside park in Kagoshima with the opening of a cafe offering scenic views of Kinko Bay. Known as Thousand Garden Tarumizu, the site was developed by the local company Denken and is set to expand further, with two mobile home-style accommodations slated to welcome guests beginning in early October.
The café, which opened its doors in early August, features an observation deck and a rooftop terrace, allowing customers to enjoy their meals while having views of Mount Kaimondake in Ibusuki.
In an article published by Asahi, Denken President Izumi Sanose expressed enthusiasm for the project, highlighting its potential as a new sightseeing base for Tarumizu. “Its charms include a view of Kinko Bay, evening scenery, and food,” Sanose remarked.
He emphasized the company’s commitment to promoting the site domestically and internationally, aiming to attract diverse visitors.
According to its website, the new luxury glamping site offers diverse experiences centered around glamping. Emphasizing the value of “Local First,” the facility will integrate local food, culture, and people to create a unique form of entertainment that harmonizes with the town and natural beauty of Tarumi.
In addition to the cafe, the two mobile homes at the glamping site are designed to immerse guests in the beauty of Kagoshima’s natural surroundings, with both units facing the sea of the ocean and Mt. Kaimon.
Each unit has modern amenities, including air conditioning, a refrigerator, bed, sofa, toilet, shower room, BBQ grill, and more, ensuring comfort and convenience. Guests are provided with essentials such as slippers, outdoor flip-flops, and indoor wear.
Designed to be a “garden of relaxation,” the site aims to foster warmth. As development continues, more facilities will gradually open.
