Indian Glamping Market Expands With Luxeglamp’s New Eco-Romantic Retreat

Luxeglamp Eco-resorts has launched Luxe Nova, a new romantic glamping experience at its flagship site in Munnar, Kerala.

Positioned against the scenic backdrop of the Anayirangal Dam and cardamom-covered hills, Luxe Nova introduces a fully enclosed, climate-controlled bubble suite with panoramic views, signaling a new level of experiential travel in India’s outdoor hospitality sector.

The launch comes amid growing demand for premium and sustainable accommodations in India’s tourism landscape. As the domestic travel market matures, interest in differentiated lodging, particularly eco-friendly glamping options, is on the rise.

Luxe Nova integrates privacy, aesthetics, and sustainability, aligning with emerging traveler preferences while offering operators insights into evolving guest expectations.

“Luxeglamp started with Munnar as a luxury glamping destination, and now we are launching a new concept that will change and redefine the glamping era in India as Luxe Nova,” said Antony Thomas, CEO and founder of Luxeglamp, in a report by Business News This Week.

The Luxe Nova suite is equipped with features such as a king-size memory foam bed, pinewood flooring, a telescope for stargazing, and a private lounge.

Guests can access amenities including an open-air shower, alfresco dining, a heated infinity plunge pool with chromotherapy, and a private sauna.

Experiences such as floating breakfasts, private outdoor movie nights, and gourmet candlelit dinners aim to add emotional and visual appeal.

The property also includes a drone video service for guests to document their stay, highlighting a growing trend among glamping providers to blend experiential offerings with digital memory-making—an area with potential for added revenue streams and marketing content.

With sustainability in focus, Luxe Nova employs recyclable PVC dome structures and fast-growing pinewood flooring. Energy-efficient LED lighting, a no-plastic policy, composting systems, and organic, locally sourced cuisine are part of its low-impact tourism model.

Glass water bottles replace single-use plastics, and guests are invited to participate in eco-awareness initiatives.

As operators look to tap into India’s rapidly growing glamping segment—projected to grow at a CAGR of 20.7%—Luxe Nova provides a case study in marrying luxury and environmental responsibility.

With the global glamping market expected to reach INR 964.5 billion by 2033, such offerings could help position Indian operators on the global stage.

For business owners, Luxe Nova underscores the importance of creating destination-led experiences, differentiating offerings through niche appeal, and embedding sustainability practices into the core of their operations.

As the market becomes increasingly competitive, offerings that fuse immersive experiences with operational responsibility are likely to resonate most with travelers and regulators alike.
