SETT 2026 is scheduled to bring outdoor hospitality suppliers, campsite operators, and industry organizations from across Europe to Montpellier, France, from November 3 to 5, with organizers expecting a stronger international presence following increased attendance at the 2025 edition.
The 47th edition of the European Trade Fair of Tourism Trends will take place at the Montpellier Exhibition Centre in Pérols. Organizers said the 2025 event drew 20,215 trade professionals, with international attendance increasing by 41.3% compared with the previous edition.
The event comes as Europe’s outdoor hospitality sector continues to operate across a large and diverse market. According to Eurostat and the European Federation of Campingsite Organisations and Holiday-Park Associations (EFCO), the European Union has nearly 28,000 campsites and more than 400 million campsite overnight stays annually. France accounts for more than 145 million nights, followed by Spain with about 50 million, Italy with about 49 million, Germany with about 45 million, and the Netherlands with about 26 million.

For campground and holiday park operators, the scale of the market also reflects several common operational issues, including environmental transition, water management, climate resilience, and digitalization. SETT 2026 will provide a marketplace for operators to review equipment and services addressing these areas, alongside products and technologies presented through the event’s Sett d’Or innovation awards.
More than 730 exhibitors are expected across 60,000 square meters of exhibition space. Confirmed European delegations include national and regional campsite federations and operator groups from Spain, Italy, Sweden, Norway, Belgium, and Portugal. A new European welcoming booth will be positioned at the main entrance in Hall A to help international delegations connect with exhibitors and other attendees.

The event will also include a three-day conference program, with selected sessions available in English through simultaneous interpretation. One featured session, scheduled for 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 4, will examine the use of drones and robots in outdoor hospitality, including applications related to safety, risk prevention, wildfire detection, surveillance, beach safety, and guest services.
The focus on technology reflects a broader operational consideration for outdoor hospitality businesses: how automation can be applied to safety and routine tasks while addressing staffing requirements and guest expectations. For operators evaluating new technology, the conference provides an opportunity to examine potential applications alongside suppliers and other industry professionals.

SETT is also preparing for a longer-term European industry role. Montpellier has been selected to host EFCO’s Annual General Assembly in 2027, bringing representatives of European campsite and holiday-park organizations to the city for institutional discussions and industry exchange.
As part of the 2026 event, the Fédération de l’Hôtellerie de Plein Air Occitanie (FHPA Oc) will host a European Cocktail at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, November 4, at the Mezzanine Restaurant Husser at Entrance B. The event is intended to provide an additional networking opportunity for international delegations, federation representatives, and outdoor hospitality operators.
Founded in 1978, SETT is managed by the Fédération de l’Hôtellerie de Plein Air Occitanie in partnership with five regional federations. The 2026 edition will also mark the introduction of the “Sett Hospitality” brand as the exhibition expands its positioning to include decision-makers from hotels, cafés, restaurants, holiday rentals, and beach clubs alongside campsites and other outdoor hospitality businesses.

For campground and glamping operators attending SETT, the combination of supplier meetings, industry conferences, innovation showcases, and European federation participation offers opportunities to assess operational solutions and monitor developments affecting the wider hospitality market. The event will run November 3, 4, and 5, 2026, at the Montpellier Exhibition Centre in Pérols, France.
