The Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association of Canada (RVDA of Canada) has partnered with HR Covered to provide members with human resources tools, education and a complimentary compliance policy manual.
Announced Sept. 16, the partnership gives RVDA members access to more than 1,000 HR documents, policies and forms through HR Covered’s HR Hub at no charge.
The library is designed to comply with federal and provincial legislation and has a regular value of CA$990 per year, according to the announcement.
The partnership is intended to provide resources for RV dealerships managing HR responsibilities, including workplace policies, forms and employment requirements.
Members will also have access to HR Covered’s webinar programming, which covers HR-related topics and is intended to provide dealership owners and managers with information and practical guidance on workplace matters.
Another component of the partnership is a complimentary compliance policy manual. Members who book a consultation will participate in a 30- to 45-minute virtual meeting that includes an HR compliance assessment and an overview of workplace requirements.
The consultation will also cover employment standards and common law considerations, employment contracts and potential areas of risk, according to RVDA of Canada.
“You don’t have to be an HR expert to know that your dealership needs the right resources in place,” said Eleonore Hamm, President of RVDA of Canada. “This partnership gives our members a practical place to start. Rather than spending hours searching for policies, forms and information, members can access resources and expertise through HR Covered as part of their RVDA membership.”
HR Covered supports more than 2,000 small businesses and not for profit organizations across Canada, with services focused on HR compliance, employment law and workplace safety documentation.
“At HR Covered, we’re thrilled to partner with RVDA of Canada to give their members direct access to the HR support they need to run their dealerships with confidence,” said Shawn Brown, Chief Growth Officer at HR Covered. “Small businesses are often the backbone of their communities, but they rarely have the same in-house HR resources as larger companies.”
Brown said the partnership will give RVDA members access to tools, education and expertise available through HR Covered’s services for businesses across Canada.
