Jellystone Park Recognized Among Franchise Business Review’s Most Profitable Brands

Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resorts has been named one of Franchise Business Review’s 50 Most Profitable Franchise brands, adding to a series of recent recognitions for the campground franchise system.

Franchise Business Review’s assessment analyzed feedback from more than 29,000 franchise owners, including their overall satisfaction with their brands and likelihood of recommending them to others.

Jellystone Park was also recently recognized as a Top Recession-Resistant franchise, Top Franchise Culture awardee and Top 50 Most Innovative Franchise.

The franchise culture recognition was based on 17 factors, including support, collaboration and commitment to franchisee success. The innovation recognition was based on franchise owners’ responses to questions concerning innovation and creativity.

Jellystone Park also expanded its franchise network this year through four locations added by franchisees. Two new franchisees opened parks in Ohio and Tennessee, while the brand’s largest operator added a location in Virginia.

Another franchisee added a new Camp-Resort in Michigan. Each of the locations had previously operated as an independent campground.

The brand now has more than 75 franchised locations across the United States and Canada and operates in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences.

Jellystone Park locations offer family-oriented attractions and activities, with amenities including pools, water slides, mini golf, foam parties, wagon rides and themed weekends featuring Yogi Bear.

Pet amenities, activities and accommodations are also increasingly part of the locations’ offerings, according to the announcement.

“We are honored that Franchise Business Review has recognized the Jellystone Park brand with three distinctions that speak to the strength of our brand,” said Jon Burek, president of Camp Jellystone.

The latest Franchise Business Review recognition follows other acknowledgments from publications including USA Today and Good Housekeeping.
