NRMA Parks and Resorts has renewed its partnership with Queensland Music Festival to support the 2026 Queensland Music Trails: The Reef series, including the return of the “Between the Tides” concert event at Airlie Beach in Queensland on July 4.
The event, which was previously held on Queensland’s Cape Hillsborough coastline, will move to the Airlie Beach Foreshore on Ngaro Country, located near NRMA Airlie Beach Holiday Park.
The concert series combines live music, cultural programming and outdoor experiences along the Great Barrier Reef coastline.
Australian band Boy & Bear will headline the event, joined by performers Jem Cassar-Daley, Mid Drift, Tjaka and local singer Kaylee West.
The program will also include cultural performances, sand art, workshops and knowledge-sharing activities led by custodians of the Ngaro Nation, along with locally produced food, beverages and art.
The partnership continues NRMA Parks and Resorts’ involvement with Queensland Music Festival after the 2025 event was staged near NRMA’s Cape Hillsborough Nature Tourist Park.
The Airlie Beach event is expected to support regional tourism during the winter travel period while highlighting recent upgrades at NRMA Airlie Beach Holiday Park. The property recently added 12 Studio Cabins as well as a café, bar and resort-style swimming pool.
As part of the partnership, ticket holders for Between the Tides will receive a 10% discount on accommodation at NRMA Airlie Beach Holiday Park.
NRMA members can access an additional 5% discount using the promotional code QMF2026.
Paul Davies, chief executive officer of NRMA Parks and Resorts, said the partnership aligns with the organization’s focus on tourism experiences connected to music, travel and nature.
“Between the Tides is a truly special music and cultural event with a broad appeal to travellers and locals alike, and we’re thrilled to see this award-winning concert series come to life in beautiful Airlie Beach this year,” Davies said.
Davies said Airlie Beach’s location near the Whitsundays and Great Barrier Reef makes it a destination for travelers seeking live entertainment and outdoor experiences during the winter season.
“It’s a fantastic opportunity for travellers to come for the event and stay a little longer to experience the best of the region, from waterfront dining and island-hopping adventures to exploring the natural beauty of the coastline, while enjoying the great range of accommodation and new upgrades at NRMA Airlie Beach Holiday Park,” he said.
NRMA Parks and Resorts operates 50 holiday parks and resorts across Tropical North Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania.
