Love’s Travel Stops has opened a new travel stop in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, adding 63 truck parking spaces as the company continues expanding its national network and addressing truck parking demand.
The new location, situated at 224 Dr. Hubble Road along Interstate 25 at Exit 79, marks Love’s 16th location in New Mexico.
According to a press release, the company said it has added 870 truck parking spaces nationwide so far in 2026 as part of broader efforts to increase parking and fueling capacity for commercial drivers.
Positioned between existing Love’s locations in Las Cruces and Albuquerque, the Truth or Consequences travel stop is intended to serve professional drivers, RV travelers, and motorists traveling through central New Mexico on I-25.
The site includes 11,717 square feet of space, six diesel bays, four showers, laundry facilities, a CAT Scale, and 76 car parking spaces.
The location also includes three RV parking spaces, seven RV hookups, a dog park, self-checkout options, and on-site food offerings, including Love’s fresh food items prepared daily and an Arby’s restaurant. The company said 77 jobs were added with the opening of the store.
Love’s said the site also includes dedicated space for future electric vehicle charging infrastructure, allowing the company to partner with local utility providers to install chargers if customer demand increases.
As part of the grand opening, Love’s announced donations of $5,000 each to Hot Springs High School and the University of New Mexico Children’s Hospital.
The company also completed renovations at its travel stops in Marion, Indiana, and Encinal, Texas, through its Road Ahead Plan modernization initiative.
The Marion location added 74 truck parking spaces, bringing the site’s total to 221 spaces. Renovations included updates to the sales floor, restrooms, showers, and the overall appearance of the facility.
At the Encinal location, Love’s remodeled the sales floor, restrooms, showers, and the store’s Subway restaurant.
Love’s said it has completed updates to 16 locations and opened nine new stores in 2026. To mark the reopenings, the company will donate $5,000 to Riley Children’s Health in Indiana and $5,000 to CHRISTUS Children’s Hospital in Texas.
