The Waves Signature RV Resort in Naples has received a Best Park Award from the Florida and Alabama RV Park and Campground Association, recognizing the property for operational standards, guest satisfaction and facility quality.
The award was announced April 30 during the Florida and Alabama Outdoor Hospitality Convention & Expo awards dinner at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort in Orlando.
“Our intent with these awards is to recognize the best parks, as determined by our independent panel of judges,” Bobby Cornwell, executive director and CEO of the Florida RV Park and Campground Association, said in a press release.
According to the association, Best Park Award recipients are evaluated on standards related to business operations, staff performance and customer service, with those qualities reflected in park reviews and ratings.
Award-winning parks must also demonstrate consistent maintenance, quality amenities and guest services, as well as a track record of guest satisfaction and increased occupancy.
Qualifying parks are also required to show the implementation of new technology, innovations or recently completed upgrades that improve the guest experience.
The Waves Signature RV Resort is a 56-acre, 383-site gated resort in Naples. The property includes a swimming pool and spa, landscaped gathering areas and outdoor recreation amenities such as pickleball and shuffleboard courts, along with spaces for bocce, pétanque and horseshoes.
The resort also features a putting green.
The resort’s clubhouse includes a fitness center and space for social events, entertainment and guest activities.
Additional amenities include a tiki lounge with fire pits, a billiards room, dog parks and laundry facilities.
The Florida and Alabama RV Park & Campground Association, based in Tallahassee, serves as the trade association for privately owned RV parks and campgrounds in both states.
Established in 1966, the association provides business services, advocacy and promotional support for member parks and campgrounds.
