American Glamping Association to Host Virtual Experts Panel on May 27

The American Glamping Association is set to host a virtual networking and discussion session focused on the glamping and outdoor hospitality sector on May 27, bringing together industry professionals, operators, consultants, and financial experts to discuss trends and business strategies affecting the sector.

The event, titled “AGA Experts Edition,” will take place on May 27, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Mountain Standard Time, which corresponds to 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time in the United States and Canada. Organizers described the session as a conversational spotlight focused on “the people, ideas, and expertise helping shape the future of glamping and outdoor hospitality.”

According to the event description, the virtual meet-up is intended to provide opportunities for operators, vendors, manufacturers, and service providers to connect with others in the American Glamping Association community while discussing current business conditions and operational challenges within the outdoor hospitality market.

The panel is scheduled to include representatives from finance, management, travel media, and landscape architecture. Participants include Nick Parker, vice president of the RV Park & Campsite Lending Team at Live Oak Bank; Mike Howard and Anne Howard of HoneyTrek; Paul Bosley, founder and managing partner of Business Finance Depot; Kathleen Walsh, president and founder of Advanced Outdoor Management; and Matt Small, landscape architecture director at RVi Planning + Landscape Architecture.

The session comes as glamping and outdoor lodging operators continue evaluating financing strategies, guest experience improvements, and site development plans amid evolving travel demand. Topics such as campground lending, outdoor resort planning, operational management, and traveler behavior are expected to be relevant areas of discussion given the expertise represented on the panel.

For business owners in the outdoor hospitality and RV sectors, events such as these can provide insight into financing availability, design considerations, and consumer travel patterns that may influence future investment decisions.

Networking sessions hosted by trade associations have increasingly become a venue for operators to exchange information about occupancy trends, amenity development, and operational efficiencies as competition in the glamping and outdoor lodging market continues to expand.

Registration for the online event is currently open through the American Glamping Association.
