Airstream Club International’s Texas Hill Country Unit held a spring rally at COTA RV Park, highlighted by a controlled drive of member trailers on the Circuit of the Americas track.
The multi-day event brought together Airstream owners from across Texas and neighboring areas, offering participants access to the race circuit and on-site amenities at the Austin facility. The track activity was a central draw, allowing members to tow their trailers on a professional motorsports surface.
“This was truly a bucket-list experience for our members,” said Craig Fegley, rally organizer. “To be able to drive our Airstreams on the Circuit of the Americas track is something most of us never imagined possible. COTA RV Park delivered an incredible rally setting with amenities, hospitality, and access that exceeded expectations.”
Attendees stayed in full-hookup RV sites and used park facilities including bathhouses. The property’s location also provided proximity to venue offerings such as karting, concerts at the Germania Insurance Amphitheater, and on-site dining.
According to a press release, Jade Callahan, general manager of COTA RV Park, said the event aligns with the park’s focus on hosting group gatherings with site-specific experiences.
“Welcoming the Texas Hill Country Unit to our park was an incredible experience! Seeing the park filled with Airstreams was incredible on its own but watching them take the track made it even more unforgettable,” Callahan said. “This is exactly the kind of unique experience we love bringing to life.”
COTA RV Park is managed by CRR Hospitality, which oversees RV resorts, campgrounds, and glamping properties. The company said its programming emphasizes experiential stays and group events.
The rally underscores a growing use of destination venues to host RV club gatherings that combine traditional camping with access to adjacent attractions.
