Three Cliffs Bay Holiday Park, located on the Gower Peninsula in Wales, has officially entered its 2026 summer season following its recent recognition at the 2025 National Camping and Glamping Awards.
The site was named the Best Coastal Campsite in the UK by campsites.co.uk in November 2025, an accolade intended to highlight high-performing camping, glamping, and touring destinations across the country.
The park is situated within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and overlooks Three Cliffs Bay, which was previously a finalist in the ITV series Britain’s Favourite View and has been ranked among the top 50 beaches in the world.
For professionals in the outdoor hospitality sector, the park’s recent infrastructure upgrades serve as a case study in high-end amenity standards. The site features a newly refurbished amenity block consisting of over 20 ensuite-style bathrooms equipped with underfloor heating, touch-sensor showers, and heated mirrors.
Additional facilities include dedicated kitchen areas, accessibility-compliant bathrooms, and outdoor dog-washing stations, according to WalesOnline. These capital improvements reflect a broader industry trend toward “hotelization” within the caravan and RV sectors, where travelers increasingly expect residential-grade comfort even in rural settings.
The park offers a diversified inventory to capture multiple market segments, ranging from traditional electric grass and hard-standing pitches for trailers and campervans to luxury yurts and bell tents. The glamping units are designed for turn-key occupancy, providing furniture, refrigerators, and cooking utilities.
Current pricing for the 2026 season begins at approximately £20 per person for basic grass pitches with hook-ups, while glamping rates start at £159 per night. Management has noted that these rates apply to mid-week stays and are subject to seasonal adjustments as peak demand increases.
Beyond accommodation, the business model incorporates multiple revenue streams, including an on-site cafe, pre-ordered breakfast pastries, and curated barbecue hampers.
This integrated service approach caters to the growing demand for convenience in the outdoor sector. The park also benefits from its proximity to National Trust walking trails, such as the Southgate to Three Cliffs Bay route, which continues to drive regional tourism to the Gower coast.
