The RV Women’s Alliance Charitable Foundation has launched a new Vision Vehicle initiative called “Chassis to Classy,” a collaborative RV build project that will culminate in a raffle to fund education, mentorship and professional development programs for women in the RV industry.
The program brings together RV manufacturers, suppliers and industry partners to design and build a fully outfitted, one-of-a-kind recreational vehicle, with all proceeds supporting the foundation’s charitable mission.
The initiative was announced by the RV Women’s Alliance (RVWA) as a signature fundraising and industry engagement effort tied to workforce growth and inclusion.
The Chassis to Classy project centers on a Vision Vehicle created through shared design input from RVWA members and sponsoring suppliers.
Contributing partners will provide components and upgrades across multiple categories, including interior finishes, appliances, furnishings and technology, highlighting technical capabilities and product innovation across the sector.
“Chassis to Classy represents everything RV Women’s Alliance stands for — collaboration, opportunity, and the power of community,” Susan Carpenter, president of RV Women’s Alliance, said in a News and Insights report of RVIA on February 10.
“This project showcases what’s possible when our industry comes together with a shared purpose, while creating meaningful impact that extends far beyond the vehicle itself,” Carpenter added.
THOR Industries and KZ RV are serving as title sponsors and are providing the base RV platform for the build. Genesis Products is participating as a Gold Sponsor, and Lippert is listed as a Silver Sponsor.
RV Women’s Alliance said it will publish progress updates and behind-the-scenes content throughout the vehicle build to highlight participating companies and their contributions.
All raffle proceeds will go directly to the RV Women’s Alliance Charitable Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, to support programs aimed at helping women advance in RV industry careers through training, education and mentorship initiatives.
